As a structural Civil Engineer, Guillaume has an experience of more than 20 years in BIM implementation in both building and infrastructure sector. He came from the competitor Nemetschek and joined Autodesk, 8 years ago. He co-authored a book about BIM & Digital Mockup, covering several topics such as formwork and rebar design on the bridge Macau Hong Kong Zhuhai project, OpenBIM Coordination for Architecture, and Structural modelling for stadiums. He also participated to the creation of the BIM Toolbox of Vinci the 2nd biggest contractor WW according to ENR TOP250 2023. As a solution executive, he participated to the establishment of 10 new enterprise agreement with owners, design, and construction firms in the French Autodesk major accounts ecosystem. Recently, he participated in the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame surrounding design competition to support the City of Paris and the implementation of BIM in respectively 4 design teams. Today, Guillaume is leading the Autodesk corporate transportation strategy for EMEA and the global strategy for Rail.

Pontus serves as Business Development Executive at Autodesk with a focus on the AEC-industry in the Nordics. Among other things, he works to ensure that there are prerequisites, such as requirements in the RFP’s, for companies to be able to take advantage of the latest technology. Pontus has a long history, almost 30 years, in the Nordic AEC industry working with a big variation of infrastructure projects as engineer, project manager and expert. He worked in project and leadership roles at companies as Tyréns, WSP and Plan B. He is also involved in Swedish AEC industry initiatives to drive the digitalisation in the industry. For example, he is a member of the steering group for the Smart Built Environment project “Tillämpsanvisningar för BIM”

Josef Carlson leads the talented Solar Park Engineering team at Svea Solar, which plays a crucial role in advancing solar park engineering in Sweden. His deep expertise in design and process development has been instrumental in creating more efficient and streamlined construction methods. Notably, he has led the design of major Swedish solar parks, including Fjällskär (21MW) and Hörby (18MW). Confronting complex construction challenges, Josef identified the limitations of traditional documentation and task management tools. His response involved spearheading the adoption of ACC, a tailored digital platform that enhances solar park construction processes.

Jochen Teizer is Professor of Construction Technologies and the Director of the Construction Automation and Information Technology Laboratory in the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). His research seeks lean and injury-free construction work environments at three levels: (a) prevention through digital design and planning, (b) smart proactive avoidance of risk, and (c) active personalized virtual learning environments. He earned a Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin in 2006 and has over 20 years of international work experience in both academia and the construction industry in Asia, Europe, and North America. He was the Vice-President for Industry Membership and Outreach and is on the Board of Directors of the International Association for Automation and Robotics in Construction (IAARC). With over 250 peer-reviewed publications in books, journals, and conference proceedings and numerous academic and construction industry teaching and research awards, he also serves on editorial boards of journals and as a visionary and consultant for the architecture, engineering, construction, and facility management (AEC/FM) industry.

In his current role, Simen combines a strong technical background with a deep understanding of customer needs to drive data and analytics strategies.

Today, Daryn is predominantly an advisor to Employer Organisations, provides Information Management services directly, leads the LRQA (previously Lloyds Register) BIM | ISO 19650 Accreditation scheme on behalf of Symetri, is an Associate Lecturer at Middlesex University supporting its MSc BIM Management programme, guest lecturers at other Universities and is currently researching a PhD in Data Quality within the Construction Sector. As an educator Daryn is known for his pragmatic and impartial approach, building on and reinforcing concepts by using real-world application and examples.

Marius is currently working as a structural engineer and BIM-Specialist in Norconsult, which is one of Norway’s biggest engineering companies. He has over 17 years of experience in the construction industry and has worked with everything from small projects to large multidisciplinary projects. Revit has been his main tool since 2007 and he is constantly seeking new methods to maximize the workflow efficiency. Marius has been using BIM 360 since its early days and is now a specialist coordinating teams in cloud collaboration in Autodesk Construction Cloud. BIM Collaborate Pro is his preferred tool for optimizing the design workflow in projects.

Radu-Ionut Boeriu studied Architecture at the “University of Architecture and Urbanism Ion Mincu” in Bucharest graduating with distinction in 2009. While still in University, Radu started working for Epstein Architecture & Engineering, a global company with the headquarter in Chicago, but with several office around the world. He joined Foster + Partners in 2015 and brought with him a wealth experience including commercial, transportation, high-rise buildings, medical and industrial projects. He engaged into building the companywide BIM Strategy designed to put Foster + Partners in a global forefront position when it comes to BIM adoption, while working and pioneering BIM within the company and implementing ISO 19650 procedures, leading the effort around Standards, Methods and Procedures by working on a wide spectrum of studio’s and internal projects. Radu-Ionut Boeriu has recently joined TP Bennett as the new Head of BIM. He brings with him a vast experience on worldwide megaprojects projects designed and built using BIM methodologies.

Aim is to implement BIM methods and tools to every step of the process; Land Acquisition, Design Management, Cost Estimation, Procurement, Alteration Works and Production. Before joining the YIT I´ve seasoned myself with 14 years of Architectural design and BIM consultancy & training as an Autodesk Certified Revit Instructor.

My team belongs to Housing Segment Business Development & Support. Our primary responsibility is to develop different kind of tools and methods for the Business and support their various needs. Native BIM-templates, harmonized solutions etc. I´m also involved in early stages of project development when it comes to evaluating the designs and profitability with selected solutions. Besides this I´m working very closely to the Information management and dataflows with our Enterprise Architects and their development streams. I could say that days go by supporting every step from end-to-end.

For more than 18 years, Ástríður Elín Ásgeirsdóttir has worked with BIM/VDC implementation within the building and construction sector, where she has been involved from the beginning, focusing on the function and value creation within the design and execution phases. It has been a long technological journey, focused on change management and collaboration between partners and other colleagues, aimed at preparing all parties to use the advantages of BIM/VDC. Today, Today she is the head of the VDC organization at Aarsleff, primarily working on building the organization, implementing strategy, and developing VDC services at all project stages. Eight years ago, Aarsleff made the decision to implement VDC within the organization. Since then, the organization has grown to comprise more than 40 employees. During this growth period, the focus has been on the implementation of digitalization through VDC in the building industry.

For over a decade, Ingibjörg Birna Kjartansdóttir has worked with BIM implementation within the AEC sector within the design and execution phase, and as a public client. Additionally, she is a part-time teacher in Reykjavik University, and served as a chairman of the board for BIM Iceland for eight years. Today she is BIM/VDC Development Manager at Istak, a leading contractor in Iceland and a part of the Aarsleff Group. In 2016, Istak decided to join Aarsleff on their BIM/VDC implementation journey, where the focus has been implementing various digital tools and BIM services into our projects, focusing on creating value, improving efficiency, and fostering digital innovation within the company and in Iceland.
