An individual or company who has made an important impact by using BIM in an unconventional, creative and smarter way leading to improved ROI and sustainability gains

BEST INDUSTRY COLLABORATION

This award recognizes companies or individuals that have had the courage to move the use of BIM into new areas. 

Criteria
An individual or company who has paved new grounds in the way they collaborate with other parties/companies. By doing so they have pushed the boundaries for how integrated projects contributes to a better future.

Per Carlsson

Senior Director Nordics & Ireland, Building & Infrastructure

Per joined Symetri in 2008 and has since held several leadership positions within the company. He is today responsible for Symetri sales and operations for the Building and Infrastructure industry in the Nordics. With 20+ years of experience in the software industry, Per is passionate to make a difference in the industry and believes strongly that digitalisation is the answer to our challenges with urbanisation and sustainability.

 Susanne Nellemann Ek

Susanne Nellemann Ek

CEO, BIM Alliance

Susanne is CEO of the association BIM Alliance and also works with research and innovation issues at IQ Samhällsbyggnad.


Susanne has a master's degree in environment and sustainability. Susanne has over 10 years of experience working with industry development within the civil engineering sector with a particular focus on sustainability issues and digitalisation, including as CEO of Geoforum Sweden and as a development leader in a municipality.

Guillaume Joubert

Guillaume Joubert

Sr Infrastructure Strategy Manager Transportation - Global, Autodesk

As a structural Civil Engineer, Guillaume has an experience of more than 20 years in BIM implementation in both building and infrastructure sector. He co-authored a book about BIM & Digital Mockup, covering several topics such as formwork and rebar design on the bridge Macau Hong Kong Zhuhai project, OpenBIM Coordination for Architecture, and Structural modelling for stadiums. Today, Guillaume is leading the Autodesk corporate transportation strategy for EMEA and the global strategy for Rail.

Magnus van der Hilst Ytreland

Magnus van der Hilst Ytreland

Team leader for fire and safety, Rambøll Norway.

Magnus is team leader for the fire safety consultant team in Rambøll Norway. He has been working with technical safety in both onshore and offshore projects in several different companies since 2005.

In 2023, Magnus' team was recognized with the Best new BIM use-award.

At Nordic BIM Summit 2023, the award for “Best New BIM Use” was given to Ramboll Norway for their work with introducing BIM to fire safety. A few months have passed since and we recently managed to catch up.
