NOMINATE FOR THE BIM SUMMIT AWARDS 2026

With the BIM Summit Awards, we at Symetri celebrate initiatives that truly make a difference. We recognize organizations and individuals who work smarter for a better future, who combine tools and processes to achieve improved outcomes, and who have the courage to push the boundaries of how BIM can be used. The awards also highlight new and more efficient ways of collaborating based on BIM.

BEST NEW BIM USE

This award recognizes companies or individuals that have had the courage to move the use of BIM into new areas. 

Criteria 
An individual or company who has made an important impact by using BIM in an unconventional, creative and smarter way leading to improved ROI and sustainability gains

BEST INDUSTRY COLLABORATION

This prize recognizes those who promote teamwork and collaboration in the Building and Infrastructure Industry.

Criteria
An individual or company who has paved new grounds in the way they collaborate with other parties/companies. By doing so they have pushed the boundaries for how integrated projects contributes to a better future. 

THE SUSTAINABILITY AWARD

This prize recognizes a company, individuals or a project who have made innovative efforts and/or a successfully implemented project for a better and more sustainable future. 

Criteria
A company or an individual or a project who has made significant efforts to pave the way towards a more sustainable outcome. It can be with the use of BIM or a combination of tools and processes. The award will reward or honor efforts done in a way so that they are possible to replicate in other projects

Tony Thuy is a Principal Partner Business Consultant at Autodesk, working with strategic partners to accelerate transformation across the AECO and D&M ecosystem. With experience spanning global organisations including IBM, AMD, and DuPont, he brings a cross-industry perspective on strategy, commercial execution, and long-term capability development. Tony examines the operational and commercial implications of AI and digital innovation in the built environment, focusing on measurable business outcomes, collaborative delivery models, and sustainable value creation. Recognised with Autodesk’s FY24 Worldwide Sales Outstanding Achievement Award for exceptional new business growth, he brings a rigorous, outcome-focused lens to how organisations apply BIM, AI, and digital innovation to create scalable, replicable industry impact and lasting value.

Edvin Klangberg

Edvin Klangberg

Enterprise Customer Success Manager EMEA, Bluebeam

Guiding and helping Bluebeam’s largest customers to get better at using their software. Previously worked for about ten years in the construction industry, including seven years at Skanska as production manager and project manager. With a combination of industry experience and knowledge of the programme, he ensures that the customers get as much benefit from the programme as possible for their purposes.

Team Manager, Store Design, JYSK

Jeanette Verdelin is the Team Manager for the Store Design Team at JYSK. She has worked with Store Design her entire career – starting with designing JYSK stores herself for 10 years before moving into a management position. Jeanette has been instrumental in the digital transformation of JYSK Store Design throughout the years and has been the main driver in securing that the program always matches the needs of her team and company. Continuously working towards the future of Store Design molding the possibilities of Revit to fit a concept fixed company where there are no rules without exceptions.

AECO Business Accelerator, Symetri

Per Ole Otterness is a geologist‑turned‑technologist with an MSc in civil engineering and geology who found his path into IT and BIM in the early 2000s. With 25 years at Symetri across roles such as consultant, team leader, and business area manager, he brings deep insight into customer challenges and problem‑solving. He’s driven by the agility, innovation, and talented colleagues that make Symetri an exciting place to grow.

Winner: JYSK

For their impressive BIM journey, moving from traditional 2D AutoCAD into a fully integrated 3D Store Design solution with Revit as the backbone. Their commitment has enabled faster and more accurate store designs to support company growth. This proves that BIM is not just for architects & engineers but also a way to tailor and customize solutions to fit specific needs with requirements on improving ROI and achieving sustainability targets.

Their innovative approach highlights the potential of BIM, making them the winner of the Best New BIM Use award in 2025.

THE SUSTAINABILITY AWARD

Winner: Adapteo

For their innovative use of BIM in modular construction. They have enhanced planning precision, reduced revisions, and improved project execution thanks to transitioning to 3D modeling and implementing Autodesk Build. With an increased BIM maturity, they have optimized modeling processes, quality, and asset tracking, leading to saving 2,400 hours of non-optimal activities weekly. Their integration of BIM into their sustainable modular solutions across Northern Europe demonstrates how BIM drives smarter, more efficient, and adaptable building practices.

BEST INDUSTRY COLLABORATION

Winner: One Creative Environments

For their collaboration with Plymouth CAST and Building Spatial Intelligence and their innovative use of BIM and digital twins in the education sector. They have unlocked smart building insights and improved facility management by leveraging BIM to collect asset data and create a Digital Twin. This initiative has delivered energy savings, decarbonization, and enhanced efficiency across 35 schools. Combining each party’s expertise has resulted in an industry-first solution, showcasing the impact of BIM in education.
