Driving Human-Centric Design: Symetri’s Naviate BioScore Recognized for Innovation

Symetri’s Naviate BioScore was selected as the winner of the Addnode Innovations program earlier this year. Developed through Symetri’s Co-Innovation Lab, BioScore introduces a measurable approach to well-being in early building design. The solution is being co-created with industry experts and will integrate into Autodesk Forma and Revit via Naviate, supporting sustainable and human-centric design practices.

Driving Human-Centric Design: Symetri’s Naviate BioScore Recognized for Innovation

Earlier this year, Symetri’s product development project, Naviate BioScore, was the winner of the Addnode Innovations program, our parent company Addnode’s annual, group-wide initiative that turns employee ideas into real products and services. Naviate Bioscore was acknowledged as part of this process for its role in making well-being measurable during the early stages of building design. Along with funding, the program provided the team with access to deep cross-industry expertise, platform flexibility, and the space to build BioScore with scale and collaboration in mind.

Once finalized, BioScore is intended to be a digital solution that helps design teams explore how early design choices impact human well-being and biophilic performance; health, cognitive function, creativity, and productivity, directly within design workflows. Alongside traditional metrics like daylight, energy, and carbon.

Naviate BioScore is currently being researched & developed through Symetri’s Co-Create Sprints, bringing together selected industry experts and researchers to test ideas, metrics, and usability. It will integrate seamlessly into Autodesk Forma and, later, Revit via Naviate. This innovation reflects Symetri’s commitment to supporting sustainable and human-centric design practices across the AEC industry.
