Following up on the success from last year we are inviting you to a two-day event with keynotes, debates, focused sessions, meetings and more. You can choose to join us live in Stockholm or Oslo or online.
The theme for 2022: Let's work smarter!
The evidence is clear; climate change impacts every aspect of our lives, and we need to collaboratively create solutions to enable sustainable progress. Teams involved with developing and continuously learning the new infrastructure in which people can thrive and where ideas be brought to life, are at the forefront of this journey. To be able to model, prototype and test how new ideas will make an impact on for example a building, and share the findings in real time, is a crucial factor for taking the next step. This is without a doubt one of the greatest contributions of digitalisation. When you are able to use the same tools to implement findings into the very fabric of something new, fully functional ecosystems are created. Now let’s get going.
We will break it down into four main topics: BIM + Digitalisation, Competence development, Sustainability and Cloud. Keynote speakers and panellists will address challenges and opportunities from Cloud implementations, how we can progress with a more sustainable focus and how BIM continues to be a key enabler. In the breakout sessions you can go into further details. There is also the opportunity to look at live demos, meet up with colleagues from the industry for an in-depth conversation. We are building an agenda where you as an architect, building or infrastructure engineer, BIM or VDC manager will have ample opportunities to get inspired.

The agenda of Nordic BIM Summit 2022
The agenda will be full of interesting keynote speakers, debates, panel discussions and breakout sessions.
There will be something for everyone on the agenda, whether you work with infrastructure (I), construction (C), structure (S) or as an architect (A). Some sessions, like our keynotes, we recommend to all participants (ALL). When all breakouts are confirmed they will be marked with our recommendations.
Session alternatives
All keynotes and panel discussions will be available both live and online during the event. We will have parallell breakout sessions during the event. Depending on if you participate live in Stockholm or Oslo or online, there will be different sessions available for you during the 1-2 of June.

With 20+ years of industry experience, Jens has a solid management track record of leading international teams in various functional areas to create tangible business growth. As the CEO of Symetri he is responsible for the overall operations and business development of the company. He strives to challenge, and to be challenged by people that have a passion for finding new ways to work smarter for a better future by developing and connecting technology with people in a way that contributes to meaningful change.
Kristina Alvendal
Kristina Alvendal is a strategic real estate developer and a city planning expert. She is a well-known profile within the real estate sector with several board assignments and well documented best practise experience. Alvendal has hold positions within politics and in private sector both at executive level and as advisor.
Jon Forssell
Jon Forssell is professional moderator, speaker and business advisor on innovation and behavioural change. As our moderator, Jon will bring both energy and focus, but also provide context and perspective by drawing on his extensive experience from moderating events within a wide range of industries and business sectors, including real estate.

Per Carlsson
Per joined Symetri in 2008 and has since held several leadership positions within the company. He is today responsible for Symetri sales and operations for the Building and Infrastructure industry in the Nordics. With 20+ years of experience in the software industry, Per is passionate to make a difference in the industry and believes strongly that digitalisation is the answer to our challenges with urbanisation and sustainability.

Leading our Nordic marketing team, Annika is responsible for the development of the marketing strategy build upon thorough customer and digital understanding and drives the content strategy for the Nordic BIM Summit based upon customer research. She brings extensive market development experience from having performed 30+ Innovation Workshops with C-suite decision makers with a focus on creating new business models as well as realizing efficiencies gains and innovation.
Harald Yggeseth
Harald holds a master's degree in civil engineering and has 12 years of experience as a structural and BIM consultant in the AEC industry before joining Bane NOR in 2019. He leads project KIM (Requirements for information modelling) in Bane NOR and works with the development of Bane NOR's overall BIM strategies. In addition, he is BIM manager on Bane NOR's Portfolio East and Nygårdstangen-Bergen-Fløen, among others.
Steve Biver
As COO, Steve works with Eagle Point Software's team leads to guide both operations and the strategic decisions of the company. Since joining Eagle Point in 2006, he has held a variety of roles within the company, including Training Engineer, Technical Services Team Lead, and Director of Solution Development. Steve holds a Civil Engineering degree from Iowa State University and has been in the AEC industry since 2003.
Jesper Ring
CEO at Frame. Jesper is a subject matter expert in sustainability, processes, and collaboration across the value chain in the construction industry. Jesper has for the past 6 years been the CEO at Frame, and he has brought the Frame platform to the market. The platform enables actors in construction projects to work professionally, effectively, and consistently with sustainability – from the very first idea to the finished building.
Cathrine Barth
Cathrine Barth is a visionary and vocal ambassador for a future Circular Society, dedicated to work within network structures to drive the transition to a low carbon society. She is a leading expert in the areas of circular economy, business development, circular design and innovation strategies. In addition, she is the co-founder of Circular Norway and currently writing (as a co-author) a new book, to be published in 2021, entitled “The Leadership Journey for a Circular Economy.” Barth provides a learning mindset for a new economic system, and uses proven methodologies within systems design thinking, collaborative innovation programming and business model methodologies for circular business development.
Jack Strongitharm
Jack is the Solutions Engineer for AEC at Unity in EMEA. He has industry experience as a civil and site engineer and previous technical expert at Autodesk and Faro. Advancing BIM models and projects to make BIM Interactive for Digital Twins using the power of Unity as part of his role at Unity.
Jerker Hägglund
Jerker is trained as an engineer and has spent most of his professional life helping customers in the construction business to realise their business goals using the right and proven technology. Currently Jerker is serving as the market lead for Sweden.
Kristoffer Flygare
I am a techie and engineer that has worked with tunnel ventilation, mechanical engineering, and BIM. Today I'm a self-employed BIM Consultant that help companies develop their design automation, BIM strategies, 5D Models, and more! I am working with Bravida and is helping them transform their business to be ready for the future and to take full advantage of the possibilities that digitalization has to offer.
Morten Ryen
Morten is Section Leader for BIM Solutions in AFRY Norway. BIM Solution is a section in the Buildings business area and now consists of 7 BIM strategists who work closely with the design groups and disciplines in the organization. AFRY has a high focus on quality delivered to the projects, therefore it requires that the BIM Strategies are at all times updated on the latest in technology and programs with functionality that can raise the efficiency of the project. Morten is one of those responsible for BIM / VDC strategies in AFRY and implementation of these strategies into the projects. He has been involved in BIM projects since the first interdisciplinary BIM projects were started, which were the entrance to A-hus and Bodø University.

Since joining AHMM in 2015, Aaron’s been responsible for Digital Design across the entire practice, its multiple offices, stretching all live and future projects. More specifically, this involves mitigating risk, engaging client/contractor/design teams, managing infrastructure and software, driving change and inspiring new and existing staff to embrace digital design authoring, review and visualisation technology.

I have been a Director, and co-owner of BIMTech since it’s formation in 2015, prior to this I was the Director of M&E Caddesign for 10 years. Both companies specialise in MEP Building Services. Starting my career as an apprentice Draughtsperson I have experienced the development from the drawing board to 2D CAD, to 3D coordination and through to BIM / Digital Engineering. I have a passion for BIM and especially the new technologies which are massively improving the delivery of construction. The use of BIM provides a collaborative working platform benefitting the project with H&S, accuracy, time, and cost management.

Sean is AEC Division Manager at Symetri – Ireland’s leading software provider. Sean has worked in the Irish Construction Industry for over 25 years, with experience in Civil and Structural Engineering. He has extensive experience in the fields of BIM, Lean Construction and implementing new workflows, ISO 19650 and BIM certification. A respected digital innovator in his field who specialises in integrating new digital tools and workflows to enhance client capabilities.
Nicolai Karved
Nicolai is a subject matter expert on standardization and building information management. For the past decade, he has focused on implementing standards in large projects and Autodesk software to ensure consistent data structure in BIM. Today Nicolai is working in the Naviate Team developing the Nexus platform. At the same time, he still provides training and consultancy to our customers.

Daniel joined HP in 2002 and has held a number of different roles spanning from sales to operations to product management and different leader roles. He is leading the commercial channel in Sweden and he is part of the country management team with a special assignment in diversity and inclusion. Rogier founded Plan B with a conviction that proper information management is of great value and a prerequisite for organizational goals including productivity, sustainability and digitalization. Rogier has extensive experience in the development and implementation of strategies for information requirements and information management. He is used to running business development projects regarding the management of life cycle information and digital working methods in various organizations and complex projects. He has designed numerous (academic) courses and is often hired as a speaker and moderator.

Even Olstad is a Norwegian architect trained in Denmark. He spent the first decade of his career ding early stage projects across Scandinavia, working for some of the largest firms in the region. Frustrated with the existing ways of working and looking for a better process, he joined Spacemaker in 2021.

This company decided that they would take a leap from designing in 2D to full BIM. To ensure better collaboration in projects, to win more projects – and to have more fun at work. Looking back the past 2-3 years, this is exactly what they have achieved.
In one of their largest projects ever, the company showed courage when they chose to present its concept to the roof garden at Økern Portal directly through the 3D model. The design created enthusiasm and ownership with the Builder who therefore chose their proposal over the original vision.
